Brief Profile:

Graduated in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry in 2011 from Bangalore veterinary college, KVAFSU, Bidar, Karnataka. Secured 19th rank in All India Entrance Examination (AIEEA) conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and elected Veterinary Parasitology in ICAR-IVRI in post graduation. Completed post-graduation in 2013 with MERITORIOUS certificate for the 1st rank in the discipline. He secured 2nd rank in IVRI entrance examination for PhD admission and completed PhD in Veterinary Parasitology with minor subjects Animal Biotechnology, Animal Biochemistry as DST-Inspire SRF.

He has eight years of experience in research area especially in molecular aspects related to various types of PCR including RACE-PCR, In-vitro gene silencing (RNA interference technique) in ticks, Identification & characterization of vaccine candidates through bioinformatics tools & experiments, Protein characterization,  Immunodiagnostics,  Vaccines development including  Large and small animal experiments.

  • Ticks and its associated disease of medical and veterinary importance.
  • Molecular diagnosis of human and animal pathogens (Zoonoses).
  • Bio-medical research on laboratory animals.
